Hi All
Last Sunday, the Peninsula Aeronautical RC Society held an interclub scale fun day. I took my 600 size AS350 Squirrel and the 600 size Alouette III. I was the only member to display helicopters and flew the AS350 as I am more comfortable with it. Around mid afternoon, there was prize giving for;
Best ARF Civilian
Best ARF Warbird
Best scratch built Civilian
Best scratch built warbird
Best Non flying hanger queen
Pilot's choice.
I was not expecting anything especially as the ARF civilian went to a nice scale chipmunk in RAF training colours, so was only half listening when they announced the pilot's choice was my Squirrel, they had to say it a couple of times for it to register. it was not something I was expecting from a mainly fixed wing club.
