it all depends on what you want the model for
if you want an everyday scae model then they are very good
if you want a super scale comp model then they are not perfect, but how many super scale models are?
i've seen one of the first kits to come into the uk and was very impressed with the model as it came out of the box
as a lot of the scale detailing is done it will mean that most of the ones sold will get into the air unlike the vario kits that get started but never finished

I really like the Bell 429. Rivets don't look that huge to me, certainly not on the Airwolf.
Big price jump though - buy from Aerodyne and they're $899 (£600). But check Quick UK and the same model's gone up to £1,200. Almost cheaper to import from Aerodyne and pay Parcelfarce.

I'm not seeing that, the Roban models are all circa $2K so about the same price as QuickUK.

RC Aerodyne tend to throw in a Naza-H, but that is a questionable advantage
