Hi All
Not been on for a while. Since the engine failure in Feb, the A109 has been stripped down and rebuilt. Cosmetically the fus did not look to bad, but we found quite a lot of internal damage. Anyhow it is all back together. I made a change to the u/c by removing the links from the servo to the nose leg and fitted a separate servo to drive it. This is mixed with the gear and works well. The paint job is ok, but the model is definitely stand-off scale.

I finished the civilian cobra and it has flown. Was made an offer on it so sold it on and replaced it with a 600 size AS350. This has trex 600 mechanics in a funkey body driving a 3 blade starflex head through a beastx.

I have not had a chance to test either model yet as we are having poor weather with high winds. i am also trying to practice for the Victorian state champs in November. Will post flying pics when I have some.
