  • Century Hawk Pro & Sport Conversion to Electric - Direct or Clutch

    Hi,

I am sure many of you will say, 'not that question again!' but as I cannot find a definitive answer - here goes..

Have both Century Hawk Pro (CS32) and Sport (TT39Pro) which I would like to convert over to Electric. So requiring suitable replacement for the Nitro engines.

    Questions are:

    * What is the preference to using DIRECT (shaft and Motor gear), or CLUTCH Drive - as both examples are advertised?

    * Please can anyone provide a recommend list of parts guide (UK sourced ideally)?

    Many thanks!

Many thanks for the link to the conversion kit Century® RC Helicopter Products however, having spoken with Century UK, the kits or at a minimum the shaft, is not yet available.

Other than getting this shipped from US, or getting the lathe out, surely someone has followed this route?
