As you can see,no holes in the body,the mechanics in this model are T Rex 600

at the ende of the mainboddy is a little edge, i don't know why.
maybe for a landingskit.
in reality, airwolf haven't this edge.

i want to cout out this edge, after cutting, i have a hole, i have to close

or is it realy needed ? because rea real one haven't it, so, i want to clean the body, at this part, if it is possible.

I see the bit you mean,there is a small edge there,its put there to allow a flat surface inside for the mechanics to bolt to,i suppose you can remove it and fill the resulting hole with fibreglass again

so, it isn't realy needed for the t-rex-mechanik ?
it is the only think, i dosen't like. I'm a scale-freak and i want to bild scale as possible (waight etc.)

in the moment, i fly with 6s3p (1600) konion, next week i get a 6s3p (1300) pack.
what do you use ? and how is the waight of the flying airwolf ?

No,the T Rex mechanics sit higher so it could be removed

I use an Aplus 6s2p 4500mah Lipo in mine and it handles the weight of the fuselage fine with the standard 600L motor

I also intend to use semi symmetrical blades to improve flight duration as i wont be going upside down with it anyway

Semi symmetrical are more efficient so i can use less pitch for my given headspeed which will mean less load on the motor so it will help offset the extra weight and improve duration

do you have only the contact with the bottom or do you have more struts
to fix the mechanik with the body, for reducing vibrations

I have 2 metal braces that are glued onto the top of the fuselage under the lip and fix to the frames where the top lipo mount screws attatch

Just to update,the fuselage is with Mark and Wayne at the moment having its paint job done

I have been running the donor 600CF and its all sweet so when the fuselage returns it should be a quick completion
