Re assembled donor Raptor as Pod n boom to ensure all is well before fitting it into fuselage,,

Project temporarily halted now to divert time to building T Rex 600,will take donor Raptor to the field when i go to run 2 or 3 tanks thru it

The Fuselage came from Century Uk via Mr Models at ferndown

BIG change of plan im afraid,,i have seen this video and been thinking

No smoke,no mess,realistic sound,much simpler to service and use

I am going to switch mechanics to T Rex 600

Luckily the holes and cutouts made in the bottom can be filled in and made good

i am selling the Raptor 50 i was going to put in here and get another T Rex 600 from Hong Kong like my first one,,

I need another T Rex as my current one is used as a chucker arounder and is way to important to me to plop into a scale heli

I can leave the lipo in situ and access the charge lead thru 1 front window,,the electrics also run noticably smoother and i think they are ideal for this type of project,,

This will severly delay the build but the finished article will be better,,

Anybody who has read or had experience with the 600 in a scale please add to this as all info would be very much appreciated

Still intend to get Demonjets to do the paintwork when i am fiinally ready but its gonna be a fair while yet

I will post all relevent info i dig up and my build process here as and when i recommence work on it

Its a shame I couldnt afford a virgin body - I've had to do a fair bit of remedial work to the one I have with odd bits cut off here and there. I believe the guy had a baron 30 and a raptor mounted to it before I got it...

Need to do some modifications to get the T Rex 600 to fit properly

I have my 600 CF now so i am gonna build the airframe and do the necessary donkey work to the fuselage to make it fit,,pics of process will go up here as and when

He's so jealous of me having a proper heli that he keeps trying to get mine painted pink

It'd be interesting to fly em both together R-luvver and get a poll taken
