      • Spare time i do get i am spending keeping my core fleet airbourne

Last weekend my 600XL motor failed in my 600E and i have a replacement waiting to be fitted and the Hyper in my 600N became unwell needing new bearings

I changed them last night but broke the ring re assembling,,,arrgghh

New ring on order so i have a sick bunch of helis at the moment

        • Airwolf is back on the top of my list to get ready for flight now,,the soon to arrive belt tail 600N will stay in the box until Airwolf is flyable

Last night i fitted the small windows with epoxy from the inside and repaired the retracts, the problem was caused by a bent control rod which i have straightened and strengthened all three of them,,,

I have stripped the mechanics back down and they are all checked and ready for installing back into the fuselage to fly

All that it will require to complete after its test flight is the windscreen fitting and sticking the guns on the side which are all painted and assembled

          • [QUOTE=Raptor50luvver;54468]I had a retract playing up and it kept collapsing while spooling up so i had to abort the flight and will fix the problem this coming week.

My rear retract on my airwolf did the very same, did you over come the problem? or did you have to get a new retract??
            Cheers Steve c...

I'd be good at flying if it weren't for the ground

            • Steve

My problem was caused by the actual link rod between the servo and the retract horn being bent,i just straightened and reinforced the rod by smearing it with epoxy to reduce the risk of it bending again

Planning to fly the Airwolf today at last due to bad weather and will video it
