    Hi guys

    Have seen some lovely detailed main and tail bledes, are you doing this work your self or can these be bought like this???

        Mine are white plastic tail and glassfibre main, both spray painted with with dark blue strips
        I have never seen any scale blades that you can buy?

        if thats what you mean??

            Ralph, I think that the majority of us are aerobatic pod and boom fliers (or at least aspire to be) so there's not a lot of interest in scale per se. Folks might just stop by the thread to see what it's about yet have nothing to add to it.

            Remember that your blades are dynamic parts so why not follow the fixed wing guys example with a set of normal blades for flying and a set you can detail for static display - no one sees detail at 1800rpm anyway...

                I fitted the Align/Heliartist fuselage to my Trex450 and wanted the stripey tail rotor as seen on full size helis, but you cannot seem to buy them so I got busy with a black permanent marker.
                Its not perfect but looks good in flight
