  • Trex 600E Jet ranger

Been looking at the Funkey 50 sized jet ranger fuselage for my Trex600E.
Does anyone know if it fits, have you done it ?
If so , is it an easy fit or a pain in the ar*#

should fit with slight mod I believe someone did an airwolf so its just a matter of slight mods.

are you fitting 600 c/f or std or new esp, if your fitting the c/f or std version to the jet ranger you will have to use futaba 9551(low profile) servo's on swash i dont think any other servo will do, its all to do with the elevator servo stickin out to far an touching the fuss, also the mechanics need to be raised about 30mm off the bottom of the fuss, theres an excellent thread with loads of pics at the trexforums site, hope this helps

Or you can do the elevator servo mod like what you get in the align fuses, where the elevator servo sits inside the frames on longer standoffs so you can use any std size servo.

As for fit its does require some thought/fettling but fits fine.

Also theres 2 jetrangers in the Funkey fuse, to choose from.

        dj that you dave,
