Hi, I am working on a scale Jet Ranger with Trex 600E mechanics, my question is can I use 620 blades as they look better than the 600's and if so what are the drawbacks? I am using 600L motor and esc with the stock pinion.
Thanks
Drawbacks would be the head will load easier... normally means your collective management has to be alot better. Seeing as this is for a scale application though then you wont be making fast pitch changes anyways. For that reason it shouldnt affect you really. You would find autos will be better though.

Are you extending the boom for the new fus? I know it's a scale but 620 blades have a _possibility_ to hit the tail blades in flight with the stock boom on the T-Rex 600e (and n)...
I am sticking to the 600 blades for the bell 222. I never had a problem with the 620 blades on the Jet Ranger but just did'nt like the feel in the air. Plus less battery time.
Cheers

One thing i was told but never tried was to use semi symetrical blades on an electric scale because they are more efficient and to fly would need less pitch and so less power drain.
Obviously scale type flying only no upside down stuff.
