So where's the problem, you have paid money towards the company and are using there products.

I think people are taking this to far to be honest, I would be over the moon if people where displaying my company logo/name.

Now if Optipower/Fuel made Canopies then that would be different but they don't.

Only Andy can give us the straight answer, but I would suspect that if you were painting your own canopy then there wouldn't be anything said, if you were painting them for profit then I'd expect you to be shut down as appears to be the case.

This is one of those situation where I suspect that if you ask for an official comment it would have to be 'no, you can't do it' as they have to protect the quality of their image and can't just give a blanket freedom to use it to all and sundry.

For example, you'll find in the scale community that people go to great lengths to get permission before copying paint schemes, logos etc. and take the trouble to get paint colours as close to perfect as possible.

So using a decal is OK as it is exactly as the owner wants it to look.

I don't why if you are not sponsored you would want that on a canopy,that's as sad as buying Align or Edge blades T shirts for example to wear,,,,

I agree. I would only wear that stuff if it was given to me for free. Why would I pay someone for the privilege of advertising their product.

What if you buy some of these and cover some nanotechs to demonstrate to fellow fliers how good they are or not as the case would be.
