Should probably have bought a Gootch 450 kit from helisfromdevon to replace the frame on my Belt-CP, but instead, I bought a set of GAUI 520mm CF main blades, an upgraded swash plate and a pair of stronger skids (more to the point they are wider) for my Gaui X5 FES from Fast-Lad, just because they had the 10% off! Still haven't maidened the Gaui yet, but thinking I might in the next couple of weeks.
The stupid thing is, although I didn't need any of the stuff I bought, I feel content, knowing that I got it in a sale... how idiotic is that? Now I have no spending power left to get the Gootch 450 kit which would probably have been more useful to me at the moment - it's not so much the money, just don't want to get on the wrong side of my very understanding wife.
That said, if (or more like when) I crash the X5, at least I will have a spare set of main blades and some new skids!
