It seems to me that people are missing the point here. At the end of the day, Fastlad is JUST an RC shop, the same as all of the others. Agreed most of the time they give thier customers a very good service, but so do Realraptors and Revolution Models etc.. We are the customer after all and should expect excellent service, more so now with so many RC shops going to the wall.

We all make mistakes, but it is how the mistake is dealt with that matters. In the past I have had a small problem with Fast Lad. I was not over impressed with how it was dealt with - not the overall outcome, but more the lack of interest in the problem, and the speed at which it was dealt with. I have no grudge with Fast Lad, and still use them on a regular basis.

I think Nathen has every right to feel a bit ****ed with the way his situation was handled, but it seems the majority of the responses to his post seem to be in Fast Lads favour. Some people seem to be very keen on sucking up to Fast Lad, which is odd in my opinion... As I said at the begining of my post they are simply another RC retailer, nothing more....

Yep and probs just a bad day had by you and also whoever dealt with your order at Fastlad. It happens, thats all im saying buddy... TBH we all do it anyways when you think about it. And this is the first place we come to vent our anger. Ive learnt to not do that now as it just ends up in a slagging match like you said.

I best not comment any further then, wouldnt want to be seen as sucking up to anyone. Maybe people back them up because simply they have had good experiences with them??? Or maybe they just like sucking up! Sorry Russ but i think thats the most ridiculous comment ive heard so far mate (Just my opinion though). Think where we'd all be if it wasnt for shops like them?

You are entitled to your opinion, and your right in what you say about shops like them, but that is no excuse for poor customer service no matter who they are.

Thats debatable... im taking it you have had good experiences with those particular shops then? And this is why you mention them right? Well thats the same thing that everyone in this thread praising FL are doing. Which is why i think your last comment is a little gun hoe.
Fast-Lad sponsor this forum... maybe thats another reason people back them up alot i dont really know. That still doesnt influence why i use them mind but i suppose could be looked at by some with a biased opinion. Im still not sure it was entirely bad customer service either. Again taking things for granted by both parties. The most important thing is it gets sorted...

If you recall, this thread was not started to praise Fast Lad. It was started by Nathen to vent his frustration - which must have been made worse by members of the forum praising Fast Lad. My aim was to readdress the balance slightly.

Dont see why theres a need to 're-address the balance slightly' TBH. We are all just speaking the truth and nothing more. Nathan is too. Theres no need for a balance. Its simply you say it how it is your end and i say it how it is mine. Im not going to just jump on the bandwagon when i have had good experiences with a shop... and i think i speak for the majority when i say nor will the other members that have had good comments for FL so far in this thread. So im not getting your point there mind. Anyways Russ... the main thing here is its all sorted (Nathan has vented his anger and the situation is now resolved), Happy Days! Now everyone get out there and fly. Its bloody lovely out there. Im off out to kane the 700 soon.
