Im going to have a go at rubbing down an old fuze (align md500) and painting it ,with what yet i dont know.

What size wet and dry to use first, then second ect .its a fiberglass fuze. Cheers

use scotchbright pads Adrian. Far better than wet n' dry.

IIrc green for rubbing down (medium) grey for "flatting" off the primer etc (fine) scotchbright will not remove the scale details like wet n' dry paper will.

Anywhere in yeovil i could get that? then what about paint...halfords? just want to try it out really

b'n'q for scotchbright and paint or halfords rattle cans for car colours paint. If your really carefull and patient you can get some pretty good results from cans, including stripes etc
