  • Cano-Fx has changed !!

For the past year or so I had my Cano-Fx website up and runnng for folks to simply see the canos that I had sprayed, and to give them an idea as maybe how to proceed with designing their own new canopy.

It's had a makeover.............the overall website is now called www.Airbrush-Fx.co.uk and this emcompasses Cano-Fx and others, as you will see. (You can still get to it via the www.Cano-Fx.co.uk link. The new forwarding address's my not be active yet!)

All the canos are still there, and more new ones, but since I airbrush other things as well, I thought I'd let you see some of my other stuff.

Any feedback would be welcome. Any new jobs would be more than welcome

Thanks for your support over the past year, and there's a little something in the pipeline to thank one of you in the very near future !

    Cheers

    Phil

ps. Am going down to the 3D champs so if anyone wants to chat, dig me out and bend my ear.

      Site looks great.

I'd have thought the biggest impediment to people getting in touch is the lack of clarity on pricing. Fear that it will be too expensive will stop people finding out that perhaps it isn't.

In the FAQ you manage to give a guide price for a helmet or a guitar in one short sentence, but it takes you 10x the words to give no clue to the starting price for a canopy

Obviously complexity will vary the price and some canopies will be harder than others, but why not at least give some examples?

Are the canopies you have in the sale section a guide to prices for example, or would you charge more if someone was to commission similar art on the same canopy?

I think in general a bit more clarity on the pricing might reduce the barrier to to the first contact for many people ...

        As Mark said.

Nice site, but more prices and more pictures

Site updated with my price guide under the FAQ section.

The canos I offer for sale are slightly cheaper simply because I am not working to someones design. I just do some from time to time if I like a colour scheme/theme. I think the canos on sale at the moment are £10 or more, cheaper than a commissioned one.

              Better for sure.

I wouldn't be so coy about pricing though, bring it up front in the main sections, perhaps something like '... and with prices starting at only £40 + canopy for a 450 it is easy to see why they keep coming back for more !' Perhaps add '* see FAQ for more details' just to make sure people go there.

You might want to reduce the 'wall of text' effect in the FAQ by splitting out the price guide from the other parts of that section, maybe add a new question like 'What can influence the price? ..' then in that section go into the different quality and complexity of the canopy and the art affecting price.

Nice improvement Phil. Its just my preference but I would like the gallerys on the same page as the subtitled catogories and not hyperlinked. It looks a bit too plain and I think the pictures will make the page more attractive.
