I'm having slightly similar issues. Every time I try to post to the forum I get a message saying it must be reviewed by the moderators and then it either doesn't show on the forum for 24 to 48 hours or possibly never shows up. It's a bit annoying when I am asking a question that I want a quick answer to or maybe wanting to share some experience but feel why bother when it takes so long to show up on the forum?
I've emailed the forum mods via the site a couple of times and never had any reply back

Until you've made a certain number of posts (I think it is 10), your posts have to be reviewed by moderators before they will show in the forums. This is to stop spammers.
The mods do a great job, but they are only volunteers and so don't monitor 24x7. I know it's frustrating at first but just keep contributing and eventually your account will work as you expect!
