    Um, no ta...
The heli being strapped down seems like it was all under control to me - at least as far as helis can be of course.

If it were free to roam the tent airspace, that would be a different case altogether - but this is just bull.
    Cheers,

pathetic whining, not worth reading. In fact exactly what is normally found on runryder.

As it happens the seminar was very educational and extremely well received by those who attended.

I'll not be visiting RumpRyder , Only time I ever go back to that place is when I'm bored and feel the need for some Mark Ryder baiting.
              Janek

Why does it always persist down at weekends ?

I was sat on the front row at the demo and never felt threatened. The heli was secured well and the rig was sturdy and built with safety in mind. This rig has been used endlessly back at CSM for a lot of tests too.

I am thankful that Colin did the demo, it was really informative.

I started the thread on runryder about the CSM flybarless demo hoping to start a technical discussion & not to provide a place for people who weren’t even there to voice there uninformed fears.

I hope the video of the seminar is posted so that those interested in see the flybarless system in action can do so from the safety of their computers!

I was there too, sat in the front row, i watched the stand being built, i watched the heli getting strapped down.
I felt totally safe, I never event flinched I was more surprised when a few people gasped as the heli rotated thro 360 degrees, I mean what did they expect. How else are you going to demonstrate the affect of the flybar and paddles in motion without running the heli up.
Well done Colin from CSM brilliant seminars dude, my understanding of flybar/paddles has increased.

At least the heli wasn’t a raptor.
