Had one of these laying around at home so i decided to mount it on my Protos for some on-board goodness.... i've now bought one of the 120* camera versions for a better overall picture...
Nothing exciting flying wise .... just me doing some figure 8s and some loops
But shows you don't need to spend hundreds to get some video with a GoPro (i know i know they're better) but for £25 these are fun enough
When i get the new wide angle one i'm going to strap both to the heli... one on the bottom, one of the boom (rear facing) on my Fusion.
To try to isolate it from vibrations as much as i could i made a bit of a Heath Robinson mount
Basically 4 Trex 500 Canopy grommets hot-glued onto the corners of a Trex450 ally motor mount (to add weight), then i used 2 layers of 3M 4011 tape (gyro mounting stuff) to glue a double-sided velcro pad to the camera and then used a velcro strap around the whole thing ....
Enjoy
