Would just like to add that this was Kevin's first time out in a field in a proper club, on his first ever flight off a decent size heli in wind, solo!

I think that is a very big achievement and it was nice to be a part of another addicts journey in this hobby

                Keep at it buddy!

Big thanks John for your help in checking over the heli just to make sure it was flight ready. It was a massive step up from msr and mcpx and at a proper club.

Garth they are very gentle, I set Kevin 25% expo on aileron and elevator and 20% on the rudder

Reduced the rates to 85% aileron 85% elevator and 85% rudder

It will be a bit nervous on your first flight but shes a forgiving machine once your in the air

                          Cheers

He did extremely well for his first flight, so many people only get to enjoy a 5 second flight followed by a spectacular crash...

Heres one I found a while ago and had to save it to the favs as it tickled me that much lol:

Maybe me not knowing to much about setups etc, but that didn't look at all happy about being in the air, tail was having a little wag, whats that? too much gyro gain?
