The gov was really struggling to keep it in check! Lots of overspeed when he came off the pitch. I bet it would be better with a proactive gov like a V-Bar, than the reactive gov in the Kosmik.

Yeah there's a loud whine in there that must be something in the drive train. It's completely mad though!

Typical German engineering. Having had the pleasure of building 3 TDR's and a Diabolo, I would love to get my hands on one of these!! No chance though, they sold out immediately.

It would not surprise me if it is 2300 as it sounds a lot faster than it actually is from watching a few vids on HF of them. At 1900 it sounds like the TDR at 2300. I think the Vbar gov would struggle more, this is just a case of them maxing out the throttle and hitting the max PWM not allowing the gov to work fully. See it quite often

Ben, so are you saying that the Kosmic is at 100% flat line, so there is no head room for the gov?

I can understand that with a bogging sound, but it's the over speed that is noticeable, where one would think that the Kosmic would reduce power to maintain HS.

Im guessing here Rob. Without seeing the log I cant say and also what settings they have for the gov. As far as I understand it the PWM increases whenever it is doing its job, regardless if its telling it to speed up or slow down the headspeed but I may have that bit confused lol.
