Saw the pictures on facebook, impressive but still not a good idea to fly after that IMO, not in front of a crowd anyway.

I'll not try that with my Fusion 50 lol

Irresponsible flying a potentially compromised model in those circumstances but hey I suppose it's ok if you want to look clever and demonstrate how strong your models are to everyone.

That's exactly what I mean. He has the flying skill to rescue a model from any orientation, but at those speeds and not knowing if and when a tail blade may fly of, not even he would be able to save it. Unfortunately, I doubt SAB or any company would tell him off - it would be more like "check out how strong our models are!".

I agree,he is without question a top pilot and I do enjoy his videos but putting the thing down on the ground and ensuring there is no potential for failure would be an obvious thing to promote people to do rather than maybe encourage people who look up to him to act the same way,I have seen others do it in the past so it is I suppose the done thing.

Who was holding the transmitter and responsible for the model?

But that aside,a great flight and an impressive model.

I know he didn't land and check the heli which is what nearly all of us would of done but in his defense he did take the Goblin up high to check the tail authority before carrying on, not ideal I know but if anyone could of noticed a problem without having to land it would be Bert, he's some pilot

Now Bobby lands his X7 pretty fast when something comes off in this flight

It just goes to show how strong the goblin is, most heli's out there would have been game over.
