being flying this one for a while now , went dfc , 550 mains , 90 tails , 12s scorpion 630 kv , awesome bit of kit , but alas today it all ended , strangely tho , she had developed a wag n some funny noises today , pity , but she did manage to bust the main frames , all gears , all blades , 2 frt servos , canopy , 1 of my gens ace is split main shaft n bearings ,boom , TT , just the usual

There must be something in the air today... or not in the air in the case of both our helis. Commiseration mate, at least mine was only a 450 I binned... I noticed you had to put quite some effort into getting yours out of the ground though!!!

Was using two gens ace 2600 , they combined were only a tiny bit over the weight of the 6s 40c 5000 turnigy I was using before , the combo of 12s plus scorpion will be used again , but I'll use the standard head I recon , although the dfc felt fine , it would be fine for less aggressive stuff I reconSeaking

I might be wrong but in the video it sounded like main blade strike with tail blades. Kde direct did the same as you 550 mains on dfc with 90 tails on 12s and i messaged them to see if they have ever had a problem . They did message back saying no prob but they thought it was close so they were going to mod a 600 boom and push rod torque tube etc. They said they wanted 25mm more than standard 550 boom and tighten main blades in the grips.
