    Flying my TREX500 this morning and filming with the GoPro Hero2.

      Very nice Sam.
      I'll just keep practising my hover
      Was it a fish-eye lens on the go pro or do I need to go and see an optician.

        PKNEC, yes the Hero 2 is wideangle, but can be changed. I like the wide angle

              If you use the narrow angle then the heli will be bigger in the frame rather than just a dot :P

                  Not by much I can tell you.

                  My GoPro Hero 3 was tested for the first time last weekend and there is nothing you do can zoom the target in choose what setting you have it on.

                  My cap mounted GoPro.

                    Yeah, thats basically the same setup as mine Tim.

                    If you get rid of the wide angle setting it means that it'll be zoomed in a bit more, therefore making the heli harder to stay in the frame. But say, the only problem with using wide angle is it makes the heli look like a dot

                      Jeez, if that's going to be the standard of flying for GR, glad I'm leaving it for a while!

                        a much better idea would be league comps, southern league, central league, northern league then run sportsman & experts classes like is done in most other Rc sports we have more than enough interest in the uk now for these style of comps.
