OK so this wasn't a very successful first try at filming, the heli kind of went off the top of the footage a few times. But thought I'd post it anyway as I wanted to mess about with iMovie a bit more.

I wondered what was going on there, I skipped a bit in the middle and the helicopter came a lot closer, a lot lower, and uhm a lot smaller. Either I'm getting senile or you changed half way through

Yup the 500 is awesome, really enjoying it. It's the only heli so far that I enjoy flying as much as I did the TT360. The MCPx is taking quite a beating at the minute, it's teaching me inverted so hits the dirt quite a bit, but I'm just about getting there now with flying it across myself, I still get elevator wrong a lot though lol. Just have to figure out everything to do turns at the end rather than just flipping back.

It's been great having the field to fly in. This year not so good as flying days have been limited due to the weather but there's no doubt it's the reason I've learnt so much as I just fly a lot. The main problem is that its just waste ground so very uneven and now with the recent weather it's grown 3ft tall grass. I need a battery powered strimmer or something lol
