  • How To: Set The Rotor Direction with Sacko - Trex 550e DFC 2600rpm

Sacko shows us what happens when you fit a new pinion, and don't check the cable's go back in the right way! It also shows that his one way bearing has locked up, again...

Finally a decent headspeed and it comes alive (after swapping the motor wires over!)

I saw towards the end of the video he said the OWB had an issue, but what did it actually do?? Just so I know what to look out for on the 600 Pro. Cheers.

It's been stuck for the last few flights. If its sieved, you can't spin the maingear without the blades spinning.

Your obsessed with videoing flights! Anything to get that YouTube account some more hits.

Maybe the £20 bearing upgrade doesn't sound so expensive after all , still bulletproof 50 flights later on 2300rpm!

As is my original OWB after 3-400 hard flights at 2700rpm Price doesn't necessarily = quality!

So is it just hit and miss if the OWB will fail or not?

Just so I'm clear, in flight does it make a loud clicking sound but doesn't cause the heli to crash? I assume it won't auto as well? Sorry for all the questions, just want to know how to identify it if it happens.

be fine in flight but will make a 600pro auto like a 450 as its turning the motor at the same time, nothing to worry about Dan...had it before so i use plenty of grease now.
