    Well if you use the correct screws in the first place no problem,,

    This test would be relivent if you was to mega the motor with voltage to get a reading .

              OMG my brand new Jive 80HV burnt at the very first time I plugged it, that may be an answer...Why do we need to learn it from Mr Mel and not from companies ?

                  Common sense to check motor's IR once it's fitted on its plate ?
                  First time I read it after 2 years of hobby. I should have come to this forum sooner

                    There's a long list of gotchas in this hobby. Perhaps a sticky would be useful for them.
                    Flasher 450 Sport. Assan GA250 with 520 tail servo, MKS DS450 cyclic.

                        from my Gaui X7 post re- HK III 4035-500Kv 350S motor Quote:-(if you do go for this motor DO NOT use the 10mm bolts thay are to long! go for 8mm) the 10mm will short the motor! Nice one Chris Good explenation mate

                          i was quite surprised to see the inside of a RC motor and there was no phase insulation or case insulation, all that needs to happen is a little rubagainst the stator and its hard down!
