  • 5yrs to the day, slow learner i think.

I flew with Pete (Discoferret) today & whilst uploading one of the vids i noticed i flew on this day 5yrs ago so i thought i'd post the two vids up together so you can all see how far i've got in that time. Not that far compared to many but never mind. I'll post all mine & pete's flight vids up in another thread.

A paddy silver heli for the first correct answer as to what bike the tank is from in the first vid

Coming on great with those moves and my mentor Mr Lodge keeps telling me you are doing fantastic too.

Nice flying Paddy. Looks like I'll have to break your thumbs if I'm going to have any chance. ( I must get some serious practice in.)

                              Very nice Paddy

In contrast one of dmhc's newest members with a 550 is learning at a frightening rate he can literally pick things up in one afternoon.

This last week he learnt 4 point tic tics in 2 flights and yesterday he watched me do backward inverted circuits one way then he went and did them both ways,he aims to compete I believe next year and is on a mission.

Been flying a long time and never seen such quick learning, makes me sick
