Had a great day at the field today, clear blue skies and about 10 mph winds, but jesus was it cold, well below freezing when we arrived at 8:30! I just bought some new canopies, and it was the perfect day to show them off The first video is just a normal 3D flight, the second is 3 minutes of just auto's Comments welcome

Not really. I love the simplicity of the electrics, the power is awesome, and it suits me down to the ground. When I finish flying it takes me about 2 minutes to pack up the car, whereas with the nitro it required a decent clean down, then there was the hassle of the nitro associated parts (clutches failing, engine bearing changes occasionally, vibes upsetting the v-bar etc etc). I do miss the sound and the "emotion" of nitro, but I won't currently be going back there any time soon If I'm getting this level of performance from electrics in the dead of winter, I can't wait for the relative warmth of summer
