  • Ben Thornley Age 7

Hey guys all of you who attending RCHA flyin saw young Ben Thornley (Matt Thornley son)fly.
At the time he was still getting comfy with all orientations and doing very small and very controlled circuits.
On sunday he turns up to our club and has his first tank of fuel he starts his usual gentle smooth flying then he adds a flip (first ever), then more and more very controlled very smooth.

Monday night and his flight starts in a very different way.

Yeah, I saw him fly at the RCHA event - very calm and showed no fear! Chatted to his dad (Matt) - the young chap clearly has a future and we will no doubt see much more of him!

        Cheers,
        Simon

As well as the newely acquired pit crew that ben has now. I suspect Matt you will soon become his new bank manager for spares etc. Not to mention if his sister starts then your well and truely snookered :-)

Ben flew next to me in the RCHA world record - was an impressively stable hover - later saw him throwing and MCPX about.

Why are these youngsters so much better than me ???????
