Got a pair of 690's for the TDR and X5, they have a characteristic squeaky bearing sound that can be heard on the vid. Nice blades though!

I need to grow a pair, and auto them. Think I will try on the X5 first though.

I use 690 Spins on my 600SE and they do hang forever and a day.

What makes a blade auto better than others? Weight?

Its a combination of blade weight for enertia keeping that energy spinning, blade chord and aerofoil to help maintain the lift but most importantly a good ear to understand where to keep the pitch and attitude of the heli to ensure airflow is maintained across the blades. I autod my new 690 spin blades and they seem to hold the energy well, but when I get out next I knock out some more. Autos are real good fun to do hence we have an auto comp at the flyin.
