Concept are doing the new loongmax for £90 a pack so £180 to run a 12S setup, thats cheeper than 2 years ago running a 6S setup on a 600E, so the prices are going one way at the moment, down down down.
Think that one in the vid was running Turnigy packs, so you don't have to runn silly expensive packs.
And your heli stays clean....lol

yup, lipo's are on the way down in price! we have a lot of stock at the mo, hopefully when we buy the next lot they may be even cheaper??

running the 12s on the 700 is amazing in terms of how cool everthing runs. after approx 8 mins of flying (half of it with jamie hammering it) the lipo's, motor & esc were barely noticably warm.

this one is using a Kontronik Jive 120 HV, and Kontronik Pyro motor

spec wise pretty much the same, although on paper the Kontonik kicks out more peak wattage.

When I spoke to Gareth about them he said that extra puts it upto 8hp where as the Scorpion was 7hp ish.
