I've been watching Sherlock Holmes, and one look at the date format allows me to deduce that he's the kind of man that is comfortable in himself, and has no problem with a bit of self-mockery - and more importantly that he's likely to be an IT techy...

                      Lemon entry, my dear Watson...

I think Coptermanic (Mike) actually reached out of the ****pit of one of his heavies and caught the rotor head. Man that thing went into orbit

Surely no-one would do a thing like that - I forgot to put the jesus-bolt back in after setting the swash flat using a swash leveller. I managed to fly for a couple of minutes before a mid-air explosion and a shower of Mini-Titan pieces. when I got home with the bits the JB and nut were sitting on the work-bench

It really depends on how systematic and how under pressure people put themselves to get a rebuild done. I think I was close to leaving out some crucial parts on my last rebuild because I was trying to do things at a meet instead of having them rebuilt and tested at home. Not everyone uses a swashleveller. I use the allen key method at the present time but do plan to get a set of levellers for 250/450/500/600 class. Others just eye level their swash and then just trim it based on how it hovers.

I know I tend to leave the jesus off till the very last minute as I tend to pull the head off a bit to check things and level out the swash as you mentioned.
