The edge of the carpet that is slightly lifting up is what got me. I have been using this same helipad for a long time and the carpet is glued down with industrial strength 3-M adhesive. Even though the crash looks horrific it only needed $200 in parts and about 1 1/2 of repair time.

I must admit I have put my 500 in trying to go low and stuck it in ops and yes I've done it with the 550 as well ops so no I've not learnt from it yet lol but we all try to do stuff in one way or another, I can't help it as I think it looks great when a Heli is inverted low down

If that's "Expert level" then I must be some kind of god Surely when you're wanting to get low you manage the collective and bring her down gently and accurately, not stab at it in a ham fisted manner as demonstrated there
