advice regarding no negative pitch and ar7100r throttle curves

hi all! im just setting my synergy up in a new tx and have got everything done except for a couple of querys im hoping someone can help with !

1. regarding the ar7100r,am i correct in setting up throttle curves in all f/modes at 100 flat or do i need to get a useable one in normal flight mode in case the rev limiter fails for some reason?

2. everything setup regarding the head but when i switch to idle up 1 or 2 if i input neg pitch all im getting is swash from pos to centre and back to pos! gone through the servo revs menu and swash mix and cant see what ive done wrong

Never had this problem with all the helis ive setup so im a bit stumped lol

Tony pitch and throttle curves are right,only getting neg pitch in normal flight.iu 1 and 2 positive only. Pos or neg on the stick.

Good Stuff!! I'm chuffed to hear that you like it!! :-)

I've had a read of your forum post and with regards to the throttle curves your better off having the normal throttle curve as a linear curve so that you have control of the throttle. What i usually have is a normal (N) throttle curve set to (0-25-50-75-100), this allows you to control the throttle and i use this to spool up the head then once up to speed you can click into Idle 1/2, this saves excess wear and tear on the clutch and liner.

Idle1 is set to 100% flat line as the governor or limiter within the AR7100R requires this to work at its best. If i remember rightly the speed is controlled in the ATV/Travel adjust Screen and will be on either the Gear Channel or AUX2 Channel. Either side of the switch can be set so that you have two speeds, what i did was to set one side of the switch as '0' so that the limiter was not engaged and have the other side to a set parameter to your desired head speed. If you have access to a tachometer then tacho it and adjust the ATV value till you get the desired head speed.

On the pitch problem, it sounds as though you have a funky setting in your pitch curve for Idle1 and Idle2, this should be linear (0-25-50-75-100) so that you get 0 Degrees at 50% throttle and -10/12 Degrees at 0% thottle then +10/12 Degrees at 100% throttle.

Expo in swash mixes? I might well have been dreaming lol but i definately remember this happening to me before and something like swash expo was enabled.
