  • switching to mode 1

Hi all. I have a Century neon blaze v3, and at the moment on mode 2. I was going to try mode 1. But the motor will constanly run and I don't know how to stop it. It could be a bit risky trying to disconect the battery while the blades are still spinning.lol
Does anyone k now how to stop the motor when I land/crash
    Thanks

You refer to the flight mode.
You want to switch to stunt mode? Then the motor will go all the time and you control the Heli with the collective.

You spin the Heli up in normal mode, then switch to stunt mode (also known as idleup), then at the end of the flight you switch back to normal so the motor stops when you put the stick down.

Look for a flight mode switch, usually top left corner of the tranny.

Mode 1 and 2 can also refer to which stick does what. Most fly mode 2 with all cyclic on the right stick. A few fly mode 1 which has aileron and collective on the right and rudder and elevator on the left. It's very difficult to swap between once you learned one of them!

      HI thanks for answering.
So when I am in mode 2 and in the air, I switch the idle up to stunt mode ( I already founf this ).Will this also let me get negative pitch to fly inverted.
I supose I could try and see what happens if I take the blades off.
      Thanks

I think your Heli came with a Transmiitter which only has a 2 position flight switch? If so? Then what you refer to as Mode 2 is actually Normal mode and Mode 1 is actually Stunt mode or as it should be called, Idle up. When in Stunt mode/Idle up, you will have as much negative from the center of the throttle position as you do positive from the center of the throttle position.
In the normal positon you will have a rising curve with the throttle position plus some negative and positive.
In Stunt mode (Idle up) you will have full throttle from the middle with full positive and full throttle with full negative.

Hi. I tried it without the blades on. I now understand.
I thought I might have had to learn again with mode 1 to perform stunts.
My radio gear does come with mode 1 and mode 2, which is swichable via the LCD screen.
I will stick with mode 2 now rhat I can keep it in the air
          Thanks for your help.
