  • Align blades - additional bits in pack

One of the blades in the pack comes with a transparent stick-on plastic wrap. Is this just protective packing, or is there another use?

Also, the pack comes with some Align stickers, one silver and one blue. Are these for sticking on the blade for tracking?

    Thanks.

    Hey.

Yes, the clear rubbery piece is to stop the blades rubbing together in transit and the other two pieces are as you've guessed for tracking, being two different colours.

I also find the clear piece comes in handy when trying to keep your 2 1/2 year old daughter away from your model keeps her amused just long enough to carry on building.

I forgot to remove the little clear plastic before flying....... i can tell you.... for a very small thin piece of plastic it makes a pretty loud bang when you flick into idle 2 and it comes off. I heard it and saw something fly off so landed and checked. At the same time i landed, the piece of plastic came floating back down too . Amazing the sound it made.

Leave it on just for a laugh .....

Is it a problem to leave the stickers on the blade permanently? Or must they be removed once tracking is done?

And, where should I stick the stickers? On the leading edge near the tip, or on the actual tip (facing outwards)?
