  • Controller ariel standard?

I've recently gotten into my helicopters again after not flying for ages. I found myself a nice cheap aircraft to start. It's called the "Volitation" and so far I'm super impressed! Finally, a helicopter I can afford that looks like it will last and is repairable! So..... During the course of re-familiarizing myself with things I managed to fly it straight at myself, albeit slowly. I went into proper tunnel vision just trying very very hard not to chop my own face up lol But I managed to land it safely at my feet AFTER flying straight through the controller antenna like it wasn't there! LOL I had a spare one that looked the same size but wasn't a Volitation ariel. It doesn't work. It seems I need the right antenna but I can't find one included in any repair kit which makes me think I just need a generic one but I've already tried that.... Can anyone make any suggestions please? Cheers, Feebo

The length of a 2.4g ariel is critical it will need to be accurate to within 0.25mm measure a spektrum rx ariel and make sure you cut the new one the right length then do a range test that will prove its good

I'm not sure what to buy and I haven't been able to find a spare antenna listed anywhere. It seems quite a simple problem but it has me grounded and frustrated! Can anyone help please?

Thanks for that :-) My problem was that I was searching "Volitation" Rather than "Double horse 9053" which offered immediate results! Doh...
