  • x400's got problems!

    hi guys,

    got a video of my crazy x400 to show you, hope you can help me out with it!

    the spec is. align430l motor / align bl35x esc / mini pred gyro (hs 56 on tail) and mini pred servo's! / min pred tx/rx / cheapo batt

    looks like glitch city to me mate . ally frames !!have you got a ferrite ring on the rx wires?

      lol its no pile of dung now boggie!

      i have been on the chat room all day and sorted it out! flies much better now

      here's a video, but by the time we had fixed it,, it was dark and the battery was dieing so its not great,....

      you can make out the ping pong balls etc...lol

          Yip was a routing problem for all those that were intrested.
          Shuffled a few things around... RX at the back of the heli away from metal frames/ESC away from motor and gyro mounted above boom as nowhere else to put it.

                  I would have thought that cable tie would have transfered any vibrations straight to the gyro case?

                    Hi tom
                    I had a piece of wood stuck to the bottom inside the frame, and put thr gyro there projecting slightly out of the back of the frame. It might still be there on the frame I sent you (the wood not the 401!).

                    One possible problem with your gyro mount is it doesn't look quite square to the main shaft. It is important that it is or it will read a little bit of yaw when the heli rolls etc. Not so important for gently hovering but very important for aerobatics.

                    Glad you have it flying!

                    Are those Z bends on the servo arms? The perfection police will have you banned from this forum for posting pics of Z bends!
                    (when you use the ccpm setup you get lots of spare ball links to play with).
