help with set up

is there anyone near to skegness who can show me what am doin wrong with setting up my heli as am not getting the full picture and find it easier for some 1 to show me what i should be doin instead of what i am doin please

Best bet is to find a local club, you can do this on the bmfa website, most club members will be happy to help with setup etc, Unfortunatly I am at the other end of the country so can't really help personally

Yeah still got it mate,driving me crazy lol,changed all servos 2day and guess wot its in a rite state lol,i centered sticks on tx i changed each servo 1 at a time so didnt get wires mixed up , put tower pro 9gs in it , zero'd trims on tx and now nothing works as it should lol ,is hitec eclipse pro 7 tx ( new 1 ) n rec is there 6ch 1 ,

Sounds like the 9gs servos are moving in the opposite direction to whatever was in there before.

You need to reverse one or more of the following: aileron, elevator pitch and overall swash mixes, 'til they are all moving in the correct directions again.

oh dears ,,thats what it had in it before 1 let go , so changed them like for like , have got new tx and dont really understand it yet so am struggling bit , the manual seems like is foreign lol

well ive reversed one of the servo's and re set them up and everything is moving in the right direction , so will test it tomorrow and see how it goes , am chuffed i have a bit more understanding of the heli and as always am gratefull for all the help you give me , many thanks everyone

Can I suggest that you troll the web for one of the many setup documents that are out there that cover exactly how to do the essential mechanical setup of a CCPM heli. I have one of my own on my web site (see sig) if that helps you to find one rapidly - just go to the tutorials section

If you do not do the mechanical setup, the heli will never ever fly correctly, it is so crucial. After that you need to learn more about your radio so that you can set that up correctly.

Glad to hear that my web site has helped you Martin, you are more than welcome to come up for a days 1 on 1 training, it really is the best way to learn how to set helis up correctly. It is a bit of a black art, but once you know how to do it, you can do it pretty easily.
