Gyro setup

Ok, i've got a new JR transmitter. I have a 450SE V2 (futaba 401)which i'm just about to sell at the weekend which was setup to the old DX7 (which is now sold)
Question is do i have to completely re setup the gyro on the 450 to get it to work with the new Transmitter?

I know how to do the reversing etc.Do i have to do anything mechanical on the heli such as servo centring etc?
I know this sounds a bit dumb, but its part of the slooow learning and understanding process.

Probably. I think the setup needs redoing whenever tx or rx is changed just so you know everything is ok. Can't hurt if you do it and don't need to rather than not do it and - SPLAT!
