  • Align gov and reg Set up

    Hey guys,
    I need some advice please
I want to add a align gov to my set up. I've got a futaba 7 channel rx. The problem is I have the first 6 channels used up by servos obviously and then the 7th channel has my align 2in1 reg plugged into it. Is it possible to put a gov into the current set up somewhere or will I need to buy a new 8 receiver?

    Thanks, Dan

I'm assuming that the receiver you are using hasn't got a separate battery input and that's why you're 2 in 1 is in channel number 7. So let me get this right, you've got the cyclics, rudder signal to the gyro, throttle and rudder gain. What you could do, a bit of a bodge is to add the gain for the gyro and the supply from your 2 in 1 to the same channel. This would free up channel 7 for your governor. Or, fit a CSM revlock and run it in manual mde which doesn't need a channel input.

Plug a Y lead into any port and run your servo and regulator into the Y Lead.

The receiver port says 7/B. so I think it's designed mainly for another channel.
But thanks both, I'll use the 'Y' lead simply because it's cheaper.
