  • DX6i Servo problem Help please

    Hi peeps
    Im still a noobie here

I have a new dx6i, just getting to grips with it, i had it working well with the old esky servos on my king2
but ive just upgrade all the servos and i can not get the servos working in the right directions
if i go to AILE, ELEV and PITCH in the swash mix menu and change them so i get the swash plate working right on the right stick.
then the swash plate moves down when i use the throttle, so then i go to reverse the servos to get the throttle to work right so the swash goes up then its throws out the AILE and PITCH.
i can only get one right but not both!!!!

    what am i doing wrong??

    Hi mate.

    Do the servo direction first.
Use the reverse function to get them following the right stick only - ignore left stick until they move the right way.

When that's done, use the swash mix to set the left stick direction - only change the sign from + to -, leave the value the same for now, and only change one at a time until you get it right.

Then use the swash mix values to adjust the pitch range.

Good stuff - it should fly better with the extra control options from a decent radio. Just make sure you check everything, and set proper pitch and throttle curves.

          Good luck!

It does not matter which way round the aile and pitch servos are connected. It can all be compensated for in the radio using servo reversing and swash mix. You only really have to worry about getting the elev servo in the right hole.

I know this is not important now you have it sorted but it may be useful to know in the future
