  • New 450 flybarless Project - advice for novice.

Hi Guys, I am looking at building a new Hobbyking 450 Pro project to get in to flybarless heli scene. I have some experience with flying smaller models and wanted to really just get in to the 450 class for stability and then move to 3D (after loads of practice on Phoenix).

To go straight to FES mode do I need to bother with a standard gyro such as "Hobby King
401B AVCS Digital Head Lock Gyro" ?

The options that i see are many for flybarless systems so looking for advice from you on best practices for this heli.
    1. Hobbyking EBAR 3-Axis Flybarless System
    2. Gaui Flybarless
    3. E-Stabilizer FES (GUEC GU-365) [3]
    4. Turnigy V-Bar 600 Flybarless System (v3)
    5. Hobbyking ZYX 3-Axis Flybarless System
    6. Flymentor 3D helicopter stabilisation System

    which one?

    any further tips appreciated!

    thanks
    Zed

the ZYX gets reasonable reviews, or there are 3GX (cheap) and 3G (cheaper) also available and both (can) work well on a 450.
I have a 3G on mine and it's good, with Coolice (from this forum) settings it behaves very well.
