motor and esc upgrade

as title says im wanting to give my king 3 some more power the stock speed controler is 25 amps and motor is 20 amps i think. im wanting to upgrade to 35 and 30 so what esc and motor should i buy 35a esc and 30a motor thx in advance

Think extreme,and tower pro also do alternatives,try heliguy or the bay.
Has for the esc?any things an improvement on the stock esky one(which is very prone to burning up without warning)
Any heli esc in the 30-40 amp range will be fine,i used align 35a ones and acer labs etc in the past.
wouldn't go to overboard though as they aint the toughest of helis.

ps Think i heard motors for the trex 250 can also be used,but check the dimensions and pinon size first.
Ps the heliguy forum as tons of info on the esky range would be a good place to look(if it works)

Be very careful with increasing motor power, as the plastic frame on the King 2 and King 3 will not take much extra power. For the King 2, Xtreme did a CNC frame reinforcer which mounts under the motor to help stop it coming out of mesh with the main gear. As advised in an earlier post, Heliguy forum has loads of good mods and advice for the Kings in the stickies section. Google 'shizzle mod' too which gives details of how add an aluminium frame to the King 2 but I've not seen one fitted the King 3 yet.

I ordered the esky brushless motor on Friday for my king2 as the old brushed motor burnt out!
Hope it will be better!?

I used to use the motor and esc off a blade 400. 2200mah pack. Worked fine. You could also use blade 400 maingears I think- this was on a king 2
