Got a crashed e22. After replacing numerous head and blade parts, will not fly or even lift off with max power. Is it pitch/throttle set up? What order do you suggest setting linkages up and to what length? Swash plate sometimes seperates and move down when more throttle applied? When trying to set up pitch, flybar moves, should I reposition to horizontal each time? After weeks of not getting into the hover am losing interest and will reluctantly take up stamp collecting! Please help!!!!!!

Sounds like lot's aint right with it!!! If the swash is seperating then not much point of doing anything else until that is fixed! Other than that it does sound like pitch/throttle curvesOriginally posted by Cobra60 View PostGot a crashed e22. As for link lengths every model is different so what works for one may not work for another.
All links/servo arms should be at 90 degrees at mid stick (disconnect motor).
Unfortunately the walkera range of choppers are shockingly poop so you are gonna really struggle with it.
Just saying how it is!!

Hey if it even got off the ground I am impressed....
Walkera Helicopters... apprently they make good paper weights!!!
But as Biggles said make it all 90 degrees mid stick.
also goto a Club and get local help with it would be best.

ooh frying pan and fire springs to mind!! mini preds are not the bargain they seem they still need setting up and are very fragile (test flown and R.T.F yeh rightOriginally posted by Cobra60 View PostThanks folks. I'll replace swash plate and try again. Failing that, sounds like I need to buy a decent piece of kit!!Mini pred seems favourite! Happy flying.

If you're on a budget or not sure helis are for you then go for a Blade CX2.
If you're not on a budget then buy a trex 450 se V2.

I have a blade cx2, however getting frustrated waiting for the wind to die down, and replacing blades after wall and settee strikes! However it is good fun!Have now seen a mini pred and it seems to be well built and not as sloppy head wise as the E22. Probably gonna call it a day and get one of those. Spares are easy to get and cheap for when the unthinkable happens. Happy Flying.
