2.4 spektrum rx capacitor info please ?!?!?!

hi peeps, im still having prob getting my bloody heli rx to work proper. it works fine but when the engine fired up if goes mad and just dies (orange light flashes mad then turns off, no controll just cuts engine as its suppost to in failsafe) im going to try either a capacitor as i heard these solve alot of problems or a lipo battery and regulator, can i have some advice as to setups ?? i have alot of capacitors in my RS comenents box from work and wondering what sort of thing i need to use ?

It would be useful if you posted your complete setup. Servos, rx, what are you using to power the model. Even pictures showing how it is all installed.

servos are sanwa 102s, reciever is a spekky ar6000, gyro is a crappy gws thing which will shortly be replaced (when my new one arrives) and standard 4 cell 4.8v (i think) rx pack.

This sounds like a major problem, and I doubt if a capacitor will help!

If anything, it sounds like a dodgy switch harness and/or connector somewhere. Are you using a heavy duty harness? Also what kind of 4-cell pack are you using? You really need something a bit more than 4 pencell batteries for an IC heli, unless you are using Eneloops.

I would suspect similar pchristy. I was going to suggest getting a screwdriver and hold the balde and tap the handle on all the components. It seems like something is being upset by the vibration of the running engine.
