Trex 550e AR6200 connections

I am at the point of connecting the electronics on my 550E.

Which servo is supposed to be the AILE and which is supposed to be the PITCH ?

Where does the pitch servo connect on the 6200, is it the gear connection.
Also I have the GP780 gyro and I assume that the single yellow wire from the gyro goes onto the AUX1 connection.
The manuals really don't show this and I really don't want to mess mess this up !!!

Also any other tips that will help get this setup would be most appreciated.

Thro - Esc
Rudd - three wires from gyro
Gear - yellow from gyro
Ele - ele servo
Aile & pitch - either side cyclic servos (then use the reverse function on the DX6i to get them the right way)

AR6200 - Function

THRO - Esc
AILE - Left hand servo (aile)
ELEV - Rear servo
RUDD - Three wires from gyro
GEAR - Yellow wire from gyro
AUX1 - Right hand servo (pitch)

What you may find is that, depending on how your Tx is setup, your gyro may not initialise. I had this on a trex 600 and ar6200 just last night. Trick is, set the two gyro gains to 100 percent and zero percent. This is so gyro knows that there is a broad gap and allows it initialise.

You will probably find you have to mess around with at least one channel, to reverse it.

On my 450 I had 2 servo's reversed and a -time on swash mix to het everything moving right, its just playing around and working out what needs to go where

Yeah, set a new model and then work everything else from there

I aint got a DX6 but a DX7 on a 500.. I have

Norm, Throttle 0, 50, 85, 100, 100
pitch -6, -3, 0, +6, +12

IU1, Throttle 85 flat
Pitch -12/+12

IU2 Thottle 100 flat
Pitch -12/+12

With the leccys, I've already mentioned using the reverse to get the all the sevo's moving the same direction and you might need to reverse the pitch if the swash isnt moving the correct way either.. its not as bad as you think!

Don't know for 550, but for my 450, swash mix was 65% in either direction, gyro gain depends a lot on gyro mate really
