BeastX and ESC advice pls- any help much appreciated :)

I have pretty much finished the FBL conversion on my 500, but am having some issues with the flight modes. It's like the DSX9 is not talking to the ESC after installing the Beast X.

I have put in my original throttle curves that I was using before to set the governer mode on the Castle Ice 100 ESC. Here's what happens- throttle hold on to take the heli outside, as soon as I flick hold off, the heli spools up despite being in mode 0 and there being 0% at low stick. The ESC should be governing at 2200rpm below 50% stick, yet it still has a variable increasing head speed up to 50%. I flick to Idle up 1 and 2, yet nothing changes, no headspeed change at all.

I really hope I am missing something obvious. I may try converting my original 500 Tx model to the FBL settings and see if that works, but any advice would be great.

You have set your TX to Single servo "ie" 1 servo and not 120 3x servos I take it.

did you recalibrate the esc,

Are you using the new firmware ?? It made my end points 99 on both sides? Think I did a recal when I put the v bar on !!

I have been back into the Castle Link and checked all the settings, though have not updated to the latest Beta firmware. I though the end points were only used when setting throttle curves and not in governer mode. I suspect there will be an obvious solution- so obvious I cannot see it :P
When you say recalibrate the ESC Rapidgaz, how far do you mean?

Taking the kids to a music festival this afternoon so will have a play thie evening before hoprefully flying tomorrow when the wind drops.

It's a fun voyage of discovery playing with new electronics- had some hovering already and it seems like cheating it is so easy- hands off hover for 5 seconds before I have even tweaked it. I wonder if the BMFA exams will allow FBL or if it will be seen as a flight aid.
