its been a month since i crashed my blade 400 and due to the fact that i am working away from home, long periods of time pass between fixes and set ups. this makes it tricky as a relative newcomer, as just as you start to to get to grips with set up, the time gaps mean you forget again, so could do with a bit of advice please.
i have put in a set of hitec hs65(karbonites) since the crash, hopefully to stop the gear stripping isue. no problems with servo reverse and and correct swash directional movement. swash is level, flybar cage level etc. so, when in idle up, with throttle hold on and left stick centred, my pitch is 0, and moves to +10 with full left stick foreward, as it should. however, i only have 3 degrees of negative pitch. i am assuming this is due to transmitter set up.
at pressent i have only been flying in normal mode, hovering in different orientations, and flying simple slow circuits and have left idle up well alone.
this set up as above, means that i have 0 pitch at centre stick and -3 degrees also at bottom stick while in normal mode also. is this correct or will this negative pitch have a tendancy toward slaming the heli into the ground as i come down/lower the throttle (this was a problem i had when i first flew the heli months ago, but this was adjusted by a helpful shop owner, but at the time i had no understanding of what he did).
i have just finished the set up now and am looking foreward to putting it in the air again in the morning, after such a long time. any coments before i do, gratefully received
