  • Battery for Set up

    Just wondering what gys use for setting up your helis on the bench. for my pro ive always just plugged in one of the lipos and my 600 was easy because of the inbuilt reg but on the 550 I dont have this and dont want to use a big 6s battery.

      Same here, just an old 4.8v pack plugged straight in - means I can do the setup before finally routing the wires, it also keeps the main motor from spooling up if I knock a stick or try to adjust the curves etc.

          Same again. I usually put a Y or extension cable in so that I can just plug in if access to the Rx is awkward.

                I use a 6s but unplug the esc so just the bec is in so no power goes to the motor (is this right lol) i unplug something anyway.
                Yes the big sigpic is coming back
